Yup. Even though they still malfunction. Hereโs one I caught in 2021. While I was talking to the head of my countyโs engineering department he mentioned this design has an issue with the countdown display failing in cold weather. Iโve witnessed this happening at three different locations where the timer section starts and immediately goes out.
The other day I witnessed someone with a walker, walk briskly and calmly into the middle of a busy road and into traffic. Her walker gets clipped by a car and she immediately makes a 360ยฐ and walks back onto the sidewalk in the opposite direction unphased.

most of Brockton MA's pedestrian crossing signals went symbolic 20 years ago due to a citywide LED traffic light upgrade
I mean theyโre a lot more energy efficient and cheaper in the long run because of how maintenance-free they are. The only real issue initially was because of their efficiency and low heat output they werenโt melting ice and snow.

Eastern Canada is the land of horizontal traffic lights. NY even trialed the exact same model we use... in Syracuse, I think. But they never adopted it.

Every other con I've been to, the hotel staff were great, even interested by / having fun with us. Busy but smiling.
At the Armon it felt like they'd rather not deal with us. Basic professionalism and nothing more. Sometimes a bit less than that, even.

A furry friend actually invited me to his place today for fursuit snuggles but I couldn't go because I had some chores to do here. And now that I'm done I'm just bleh, lol
Itโs extremely expensive. I was working with a group at the end of 2019 into early 2020 to bring a con (or even a furmeet) to NYC but covid killed the momentum.
I remember the 2019 one. Small lil party hall in the ass end of queens but it was fun! That was my first official meet to interact with others outside a convention.

I feel that!! Bronycon was my home even though I live far from Maryland, but now I go to SeaquestriaFest which is still far but it's one I can get to more so than trotcon or ciderfest or babscon or everfree
Yeah, for furry cons, anime or gaming cons, you make your hotel reservation as soon as the booking window opens. Many of them sell out their main hotel in an hour or so.
Due to family obligations, I can only go to one con per year nowadays. That's furpoc. So there is no way I'm not gonna get a room in the main hotel. Especially since I run Piesssss innnn Spaaaacce party next year.

I actually am having a hecc of a time finding screen protectors for the Google pixel 7a that doesn't crack at the slightest touch... Have to return the one I got it's poor quality
I wish there was a way to do this without having to buy a yrly subscription to an art program for Android users.. id try more actual drawing type things that way... So foreign to me is digital drawing still as an art medium...
Shouldn't it depend on the context? It's used for insincere apologies when the persons at fault but not claiming fault. In this case as far as I'm aware by context I'm seeing rasberry isn't at fault..are they?
Just the edges that graduate into longer type of fur makes the fur look softer and more blended I only use it sparingly and these are human hair grade textures so best to be used on small areas. I was always fascinated by the salons using these on me and others to get a softer finishing look rather than a straight blunt cut ๐ id keep asking what they used so I got a pair ๐ shaved the muzzle a small bit with a guard as it looked unevenly cut a bit... ๐ค It was really bugging me in pics
It's hardly noticeable ๐ the longer sparkle fur parts of the fur areas on the head so it was more even it looked like a rushed cut tbh the feet paws are very unevenly cut... On the bottom parts sadly if I had to give an honest critique my suit looked like the feet paws were rushed with how unevenly they are cut.. I waited 7 yrs and my suit was still rushed it looked like on parts ๐

The Rockafire Explosion has a documentary about it on youtube. Records were put out. Slightly animatronic--Bugaboo Creek Steak house had "talking animals" on the wall. Below, from Wikipedia. After awhile they turned off the animatronics but left them on the wall, and finally went out of business in 2016

Diabetes makes your bones weak and easily breakable. It also gives you numb feet so you can't feel any pain when you break the foot. So you keep walking on it and rebreaking the bones until it's nothing but gravel in a bag of flesh. They think it's just an infection, so they keep shooting antibiotics into you that dont do anything about the broken bones. Eventually either they amputate the foot or catch it early enough to heal. But it takes months and months, and may never completely heal. I broke the foot right after furpocalypse last year, and have been dealing with it since.
Jackbox. The fact that you literally donโt need anything but a tablet or smartphone to participate. Hell you can even play over the internet if you have a low latency Discord or YouTube stream from the host.

Iโm excited that Jackbox has returned to Google Chromecast TV. Like itโs the easiest way to actually play the game. All you need is the inexpensive Google Chromecast TV dongle and to hook it up to an internet connection. No need to haul out a desktop or laptop or gaming console.
yea and im letter people stay at my place thursday and friday if doing the train stuff. also to save money, the hotel prices suck and its not the greatest if a lot of people stay in one room
Yup. Thatโs the one thing i hate about cons, having to stress over finding roommates and being in constant fear someoneโs gonna drop out and stick you with a big bill
